Ek Tha Tiger Crosses the Rs 100 Crore in 5 Days
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have gone all out to promote their just-released movie on television by appearing on several reality shows. And looks like their efforts have indeed paid off at the box office because the movie has set a new record by crossing the coveted Rs 100 crore mark in just five days.
But guess what, this popular yard stick in the world of B-town trade isn’t of much importance to our darling Sallu. “India has such a large population and nowadays crossing Rs 100 crore mark is not a big deal. It’s actually very easy,” the Tiger had said in an interview.
Hmmm, a fair point made, Salman. Even so, making so much moolah in just a few days is indeed commendable. ETT made Rs 32.92 cr on Wednesday (opening day), Rs 14.5 on Thursday, Rs 12.90 cr on Friday, Rs 16.75 cr on Saturday and has allegedly made Rs 23 cr on Sunday.
